Bought the Duux Whisper Flex Fan 615 Fan in 2019. Now it no longer hens to oscillate vertically. Stays down with a slightly audible click, as if a cog in the mechanism does not want to engage. How can this be solved?

Very quiet and easy to use. It’s great that the fan Oscillates Both Horizontal and Vertical. However, when using the horizontal oscillation the fan makes an unpleasant high pitch noise. Duration the day this would not be very noticable, but when using it at night when trying to sleep this is an issue.
The High Pitch Noise was such a bother that we decided to return the fan.

A month ago I bought the Globe fan for my mother at BCC. She has been living in a care institution since March. It was very warm and stuffy in her small room. The fan had to be stable, not pose a tripping hazard, have sufficient reach for the size of the room and, above all, be quiet. The Globe meets all these conditions and also looks nice. It’s a success! My mother is very satisfied with the fan. It stands on a small table and is on day and night. She proudly explained how two people had already asked about the origin of her fan. I also notice that it brings a pleasant airflow into the room and is quite quiet. We are both very happy with this purchase!
